I have been trying to access some of the files at the
simtel20 archive.   The StuffIt (sit) files seem to be
in a binary format that seems unreadable to either the
unsit utility under UNIX or StuffIt itself on my Mac.
I have tried transferring the files using the image,
binary, and tenex modes under ftp but with no luck.   Unsit
complains that it cannot read the file header and that
the file is not in the StuffIt format.

What am I doing wrong ?
