Lines: 18 Yes its true that the mac + has double sided disks and the Lisa doesn't. However the problem goes deeper than that, a large number of mac+ programs (Including Hypercard, Sob. Sob.) will not run on the Lisa. There was a rumor that there was a Macworks 4.something in the pipeline but I havent heard any more. I would like to be able to for example use system 4.1 to allow hierachical folders and walking menus, but this doesn't work either. I can't remember the numbers but the system folder for my Lisa is about 2 years old and cannot be upgraded. Some problems I have with the latest Macworks (the one that boots from the hard disk) is that it causes the screen to be very blurred, this appears to be a software problem because it doesnt happen on the old Macworks, nor on the Lisa Office system. I am baffled, any ideas anyone? _________________________________________________________________________ |Sean Hayes, Hewlett Packard Laboratories, Bristol, England| |net: esh@hplb.uucp esh%shayes@hplabs.HP.COM ..!mcvax!ukc!hplb!esh|
