several people told me that they cannot reach RASCAL (just as I thought)
so I put a copy of the Tech-Notes also on R20.UTEXAS.EDU ...

I would like to request that people who attempt to FTP to RASCAL from remote
sites (not on the UTEXAS-domain) please send me a note - no matter of they
were able to connect or not.  I'm trying to collect some data to see if
I can figure out why people cannot reach RASCAL.

below I enclose the entries for both RASCAL and R20 from our HOSTS-table.
if you cannot FTP to the site by name, you can always try the numeric
address:

128.83.144.1      rascal.ics.utexas.edu rascal # sun unix
128.83.1.30       r20.utexas.edu r20.cs.utexas.edu ut-r20.utexas.edu # dec/2060 tops20

also a directory listing of the file in the (default) directory when you login with "anonymous" ...
NOTE: I also moved the latest data files of MacZap Version 5.1 there
	(only useful to owners of the program MacZap)
