My Mac and other hardware where purchased in November 1987, are still in excellent condition. I'd like to say that these have been my pride and joy, and I have treated them as such. I'm selling my Mac because I want to buy a bigger Mac. I would like to get a Mac II with an 80Mb hard drive, 8Mb ram, and a color monitor. A Mac IIe maybe? Thanks to Uncle Sam and the IRS, I'm half way there now. If I can sell my present system, then I should attain my goal. I can provide copies of any receipts you might need. Now down to business, here's what I have: Macintosh SE with dual 800k floppies and 1 Mb RAM Extended Keyboard Imagewriter II Macintosh to Imagewriter Cable All Manuals Price: $2400.00 I'm selling the Mac for about list, but I'm also throwing in the Extended Keyboard, Imagewriter II and Cable for free. I will of course include the Mouse. Your saving approximately $195.00 for the Extended Keyboard, $495.00 for the Imagewriter II, and $25.00 for the Cable, not to mention the sales tax which would otherwise be included. See Below For More Savings. Prodigy 4 SE - 16Mhz 68020/68881 Accelerator with 4Mb of Fast RAM All Manuals Mac Snap Toolkit Price: 1995.00 This accelerator has been reviewed in several major Macintosh publications including: Mac World, and Mac User. You will also find a review listed in BYTE. In almost every CPU intensive task put to it, the Prodigy out performed both the Macintosh II, and the Radius Accelerator. It contains 4Mb of Fast RAM which will be upgradable to 32Mb as soon as 4Mb chips are available. The Prodigy 4 SE has an additional slot available for adding the Motorola 68851 Memory Management Unit, which is required for Apple's version of UNIX, and for any truly Multitasking MacOS down the road. The Prodigy occupies the Mac SE's internal expansion slot, and includes an adapter which will allow you to add a larger monitor at a later date. Additionally, the Prodigy includes software for creating a RamDisk, and for turning the 68020 instruction cache, and SANE-to-68881 options on and off, this provides you with 100% compatability with non-accelerated Macs. I love this accelerator so much, that I could never force myself to go back to a "plain vanilla" Mac SE again. If you work with MultiFinder, or Hypercard, then you will certainly enjoy the additional RAM that the Prodigy can provide. If you have "Falcon", by Spectrum Holobyte, as I do, then you will truly come to appreciate being able to load this 1.6Mb F-16 simulator into your RamDisk and running it in real time. The Prodigy is sold by SuperMac direct to dealers, so you could not purchase it at a lower price than this. All manuals are included, and installation is a snap. I will throw in the Mac Snap tools needed to crack open your Mac and install the Prodigy, (a $20.00 savings). If your interested in purchasing my Macintosh system or the Prodigy accelerator, then this is what I propose: You tell me where you live, and I will have the packages weighed by my local UPS. I will then send you a VAXMail message informing you of the shipping, insurance, and COD charges. You send me a Money Order to cover these charges, and I will then UPS Ground everything up to your address. You will need Money Orders totaling the remaining balance. I will absorb the cost of the Shipping, COD, and Insurance. We will simply deduct that from the price of the system. dale
