I have two questions about menus and would appreciate any information about
either one.

	1. How does one get rid of the menubar at the top of the screen so
	   that that area of the screen is usable.
	
	2. How does one produce menus in other parts of the screen other than
	   the menubar (i.e. MicroEmacs pop-up window).

Any help would be much appreciated.
