Ethernet works fine: rcp, rlogin, rsh, telnet, ftp all work ok. However, NFS does not. When directories are remote-mounted the server system tends to crash. Not always, and not always when under high load. I haven't been able to determine a clear pattern to the crashes, except that they happen at least once a day. (Needless to say, we're not remote-mounting anything currently.) Has anyone else experienced these problems? Have you found a solution to the problem (other than avoiding NFS)?
