Lines: 20 I'd like to get rid one of my two 5.25" 360K floppies and replace them with a 1.44 MB 3.5" on my Tandy 1000SX. I've seen lots of articles in the various Tandy-specific magazines that tell how to get a 720K 3.5" and install them. How about a 1.44MB ??? I've been bitten with the dreaded "buy Tandy because it's cheap but get a personal loan when you want to upgrade" already when I bought a Tandy 20MB hard-card (which incidentally I'm VERY happy with). I'd like to get a 3rd-party 1.44 MB drive and install it...can I???... has anyone out there done it ??? ... do I need special connectors ??? who sells them? Any responses will be appreciated. I'll post a summary to any e-mailed responses. -- Vince Skahan Boeing Computer Services - Phila.
