MIT would like to claim trademark of the X design in that logo, as well
as the "complete" logo (with the word "Window" above and "System" below)
as represented on the brochures and posters given out at the recent
Uniforum.  Unfortunately, there isn't any such indication on those
brochures or posters or in V11R2, so I'll leave it to you to figure out
where we stand legally.  As with all X materials owned by MIT, the
intention is definitely to allow general use of the design, no license
is required.
