"We have been experiencing problems with amino terminal blockage
of proteins purified by gel electrophoresis prior to sequencing.
I recall seeing a method for the reversible blocking of primary
amino groups with FMOC as a protective strategy before
electrophoresis.  Can anyone help me by supplying either the
method or a reference to such a method?  I would be very
