"Computational Methods for Factoring Large Integers" by Marvin C. Wunderlich
in the winter issue of ABACUS vol 5 #2, pgs 19-33 is an excellent article on
current methods of factoring large numbers, including the MPQS, with 17 listed
references at the end.
