	People interested in the question of animal cognition may find
a book I wrote of some interest:  Introduction to comparative cognition
by Herbert L. Roitblat.  Published by W. H. Freeman.  This book should be 
available in most univeristy libraries.  I also recommend books by Stephen
Walker and Donald Griffin for more ethological perspectives and E. Sue

Savage-Rumbaugh for one concerning ape language research.
