I've read a reference to a report by the Gartner group, IBM research 
specialists, which shows that Macs are 28% cheaper to run than PCs over five 
years, looking at training, productivity etc.

Anyone know of the group or the report, how to contact them, how to get it?

Mail me if you do - this sort of bottom-line figure is useful in HCI, so I'll 
post details to the net once I've collected any useful pointers etc.
