One has to be very carefull in installing GNUEmacs. (Well, you have always to be very carefull.) You can install Emacs with #undef'ined HIGHPRIORITY, then forget that and set the suid bit on Emacs on the owner to root. This will cause at least, that your files owned by root. I didn't try processes, but ...
