Pity the poor person (me, sometimes) who uses, teaches, and consults on a Mac, IBM-PC and friends, and a VAX, in Pascal, Basic, Fortran or Prolog (not to mention various applications) in any one day--and I am considered a traitor (!?) in all those worlds.
