The problem is that as far as i know we can}t attach an ibm 7171 protocol converter. Is that true ?? Any other idea ???? Also we a have an ethernet with a couple of VAXes on it and from the other side we have one IBM 4361-3 and one IBM 4361-4 running VM, we are willing to connect the IBMs on the ethernet. The two alternatives we are thinking of are : 1) SNA/DECNET gateway.. 2) IBM 7071?? and Flex link or TCP/IP SW Any comments or recommendations on the above solutions are welcome.
