Occasionally, during bursts of heavy activity, the drive goes silent, with the access light staying lit. The system is largely brain-dead at this point - you can move things around on the WorkBench screen, but no screen refresh happens. The only way out is to reboot. Has anyone seen similar problems? Is it a hardware failure of either the drive or the controller? Is it just a timing problem? I don't seem to lose any data, or have to reformat the drive, but it is probably only a matter of time...
