This is a request for votes on the creation of a *NEW* newsgroup, to
be called comp.sys.lisa.

The aim of the group will be to link together current owners/users
of Apple Lisa/MacXL hardware for their mutual benefit.  Since these
machines are fundamentally different to the "standard" Apple Macintosh,
it would seem sensible to create a group catering specifically for them.

For those of you wondering if this group is being created a little in
the twilight hour for the Lisa, then bear in mind that they are still
being sold (or rather re-sold) and that there are approximately 30,000
units still in service.

As is usual, please mail me with your votes and/or post comments
to news.groups ...
