Wow - it looks good, here we are "wait3" - and over there, "SIGSTOP", "SIGTSTP", "SIGCONT".... at last, HP-UX looks *useable*. They've put back all those things they took out when they had to make it look like System V. It was only when I read the small print that I saw the caveats "Series 300/500: $FEATURE is not supported" :-( In an environment of Suns, Vaxen, other BSD machines, porting code to the Bobcats is a real nightmare. What can I do? Come on HP - why spoil it, why not have the *same* system across all your machines? [Oops, I mean the better one, too :-)] I assume the reason that the 300 and 800 manuals are merged is to get us to buy 800s! Aled Morris systems programmer p.s. have HP heard about "rdump"?
