Binary numbers displayed with 'b', 'd', 'h' and 'o' in the display, and can now be entered in any specified base. 9. The MENU function allows programmable displaying of any menu by numbered input. 10.Modes are indicated by a small square after the current choice, rather than inverse video, like the 28C. 11.Printing of screen dumps may now be done by pressing ON and L (PRINT) keys together. 12.Screens may be saved to string objects (and returned to the display) via the LCD-> and ->LCD commands under program control, and by hitting the DEL key while a display to be saved is up. 13.CATALOG and UNITS scans by holding the key down, rather than pressing the SCAN key. 14.Errors are better described better in the display. 15.Custom menus may be generated in two types: "INPUT" and "USER" type. 16.Some UNITS have been updated and some have been added. 17.VISITing programs lists them indented to show structure. 18.Both arrays and lists may be referred to in algebraic syntax, i.e., 'L(3)' returns the 3rd element in array or list L. 19.ALPHA key now switches between the three modes of input. 20.Flag 46 set/clear controls wraparound on/off of GETI/PUTI functions. 21.Flag 47 set/clear controls doublespace printing on/off functions. 22.DGTIZ function enables interactive plot digitizing from within a running program. 23.The 28S display glass is non-glare, while the 28C glass is ordinary. 24.Spaces between +, -, *, /, and ^ and previous and next character in display are now automatically inserted by the calculator in ALPHA entry mode. 25.RND function now works on arrays and complex objects as well as reals. I hope this helps somewhat. More differences are discovered daily.. Jake Schwartz
