   Examining the Aztec C 3.4B documentation, they do indeed claim to
handle unlimited data through additional libraries and cc options.

   They are also supposed to release a new version soon with a better
symbolic debugger which runs under MultiFinder (in the MPW shell...).
   
   Personally, I believe I must be programming Macintoshes 
to atone for some *real* heinous sins in previous lives.  I suppose
it's a better deal than being a toad....
