All I have access to is documentation in X10. 1) Does X11 have primitive calls for 3D graphics ? 2) Have any calls for 2D been added or deleted ? 3) Can the machine dependant functions that need to be written take advantage of both raster driven and display list driven machines ? 4) Do you know of any implementations of the underlying code for display list machines ? 5) Can underlying functions take advantage of specialized hardware in the machine (specifically graphics) ? 6) If there are no 3D primitives, does anyone know of implementations ?
