Is there anyone who knows anything about the ethernet chip
on the Apple EtherTalk cards, "DP8390"?
Is this a custom chip, or is it a standard one?

It looks like the EPROM is directly connected to the 8390,
so perhaps it (the 8390) can boot by itself.
