Eventhough USR is using the Rockwell chipset in the HST, a person
from USR recently told me that the V.32 modem that they will be
coming out with is going to use a chipset of their own design.  He
claimed that none the less, USR would have very agressive pricing.
This, of course, remains to be seen at the moment...
