Many times the trailblazer will produce a "hooting" sound out the speaker and trash the connection. Has anyone had these symptoms? Yes, occasionally. And not only when calling other brands of modems, but even when calling a TB+ (rev. 3.0 or 4.0) with the calling TB's S50=3. In my case S95=2 (on both calling and called TB's), haven't tried it with S95=0 yet. But the described problem also occurs when calling a 2400 modem that doesn't have MNP. -- Piet Beertema, CWI, Amsterdam (piet@cwi.nl)
