Message-ID: <3870001@hpvcla.HP.COM> Date: 17 May 88 17:13:24 GMT Organization: Hewlett Packard, Vancouver, WA Lines: 17 After having just pieced MacJove together from the net, I began experimenting with some of the features it has that vi doesn't and found what appears to be a bug. - Do a search command - When asked for the text, insert a by typing ^Q^M uses the quote feature I like so much to allow inserting control chars in search strings. - The search will fail! Another possibly related bug: try replacing the ^M with a ^J (linefeed char) in the search text above. It get's changed to a ^M. Wow! One heck of a lot of menu'd commands. Nice.
