Lines: 22 I apologize that this is not the entirely correct newsgroup -- but the congregation here is more attuned to software engineering issues than most, so -- A while back (1985?) an article was published (Proceedings of the ACM?) called "Why Isn't Sam Coding Anything." This is a classic, and although I have been bitten by management with similar narrow minds before, I am now, again, facing an engineering management establishment which is formed of basically OK guys, but they don't understand software. Will some kind soul please send me a copy of "WISCA" ? (Actually, I feel it's of general software engineering value and therefore appropriate to post to the net {copyright restrictions notwithstanding} even in the Ada section. It's at least as useful as the Ada vs C exchange a while back...) Please respond via e-mail if you don't feel the net would appreciate. Or respond via US Snail -- Rich Herzog, P.O. Box 609, La Mesa, CA 92044-0100. But Please respond. All the "Sam's" out there will appreciate it. UUCP: {ihnp4!scgvaxd!cadovax rutgers!marque}!gryphon!pnet02!richh INET: richh@pnet02.cts.com
