The HES forth rom cartrige. A fig forth which used either cassette or disk. It was slow and had a few bugs (I think) but it was in rom. It was not possible to build auto starting programs. I started in forth on this one. 2. Forth from Performance Micro Products, 770 Dedham Street-s2, Canton, MA, 02021. Two versions. Version A seemed to be a fig forth, version B was forth 79. I haven't used this and I don't think they are in business anymore. 3. Super forth 64 from Parsec. Now sold by MVP, of MVP-forth fame. This is basically a version of MVP forth on the c64. I've used it quite often and while it is quite full featured, it is quite slow on the i/o. It has many nice extensions and no bugs which I stumbled over. This is disk based and it will produce romable autostart programs (if you have the prom programmer.) because of its speed. bruce on bitnet
