I find them to be quite slow (my terminal is longer maintaining 9600 baud throughput) and jerky. They can be obnoxious to use in an editor when deletes are buffered well ahead of what you see - you frequently "overshoot". .../Ed Disclaimer: We just installed these last month, so performance may not be fully optimized, but the above is what we see now.
