We are using VAXGKS from DEC. It supports almost all DEC's graphics terminals, plotters, etc. In addition it supports some HP plotters and Tektronix terminals. If you have other graphics devices you can write your own graphics handler (as we did) to make GKS run on that device. VAXGKS is a level 2c implementation, so all GKS features are supported. It is nicely integrated in the VMS environment. Device types can be defined with logical names or hard- coded in the program. VAXGKS is a rather new product, it is certainly not bug free, but it satisfied our needs. F.
