This is what BRL uses and this is what we've (DDN) specified for this wierd thing called a concentrator. As far as the class C mapping, the one cisco uses is as good as any. I'd recommend you treat this as a per network split, and set it up so you can use any amount of the bits to represent host or packet switch. Mike
