Summary: There's been one suggestion, but no solution. Keywords: ARP resident Message-ID: <5315@bloom-beacon.MIT.EDU> Date: 13 May 88 02:20:20 GMT Sender: daemon@bloom-beacon.MIT.EDU Reply-To: langz@athena.mit.edu (Lang Zerner) Followup-To: comp.sys.amiga Organization: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lines: 18 Posted: Thu May 12 22:20:20 1988 References: A while ago I posted an article noting the fact that ARP resident does not appear to make executables resident (a major flaw in *any* resident command, in my opinion :-). Someone responded with a post that said something like, "I think you need to use it with a different CLI," or something to that effect. Since then -- nothing. Does anyone know how I, a humble Amiga 500 non-developer type (i.e. still using 1.2) can get my ARP resident to make things resident? I'm currently using rez, which I think is great BTW, but I'm a real ARPie (I even sent them the requested $$ way back when) so I want to use ARP's very own. So, what do I need? The CLI from 1.3? A new version of ARP that I haven't heard about yet? (Not likely :-) What?? This question is worth 5 points on the next quiz. Anyone? Anyone? Be seeing you...
