This may or may not solve your problem.  There is an *IBM* program called
IFF2GIF available that will do what you want.  But since many people seem
to have Bridgecards and at least some have a software IBM emulator maybe this
would do the job for you.

It's available in DL1 in the CompuServe PICS forum.
