Sorry - I take back my previous answer. The stuff I said about what Emacs does with the pointer is correct. However, I just noticed that with DMouse, my AmigaTerm pointer did blank out, and AmigaTerm is another program that SetPointer()'s a color-swapped version of the user's default pointer. So I tried Emacs - and the pointer DID blank out for me. I don't know why your pointer won't blank with Dmouse and Emacs... When you say "cursor" you are talking about the Mouse cursor, right ? -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Carolyn Scheppner -- CATS >>Commodore Amiga Technical Support<< UUCP ...{allegra,ihnp4,rutgers}!cbmvax!carolyn PHONE 215-431-9180 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
