It is quite possible to write a program to assign bad blocks to files in a 'dhX:BAD' directory. It requires knowing the format of the filing system blocks, but really would be rather simple. You, or Peter (who seems to want this bad), or anyone else who is interested could probably get this up and running in a couple of days, given examples from Fish Disks, and info on the FFS block layout (very similar to SFS except data blocks are 512 bytes of data.)
