Well let's see here....

1.0 cost me $1295. Had to buy an A1000 at full retail price (no one was
    discounting them in October 1985) to get it.

1.1 cost me $0.00. Was handed out to Amiga owners for free by dealers.
    (remember the brown corrugated cardboard box?)

1.2 cost me $10.00.  Retail was $15.00. I bought it through a mail-order
    software discount house.

1.3 will cost me "as low as @#*&#@&^%."  Hey, that sounds fairly
    reasonable!  Just so long as it doesn't cost me as much as 1.0 did!!
