It's probably a violation of copyright to circulate those messages; besides, they're substantailly redundant. In short - 1) There are ordinary folks out there receiving Zip chips. 2) They do work as advertised; one club benched marked Zip against Transwarp and decided it's a draw (depends on what software and what it's doing). 3) Still LOTS of peope who ordered at last Fall's Applefest who are still awaiting delivery (if you order now, don't hold your breath). 4) There's a new, similar competitor called the "Rocket Chip" said to be twice as fast as Zip (6MHz instead of "only 4"). 5) The rumored Zip-GS is still vaporware. --------------------- Disclaimer: The "look and feel" of this message is exclusively MINE!
