I have also encountered the problem; the program fails with a $1301 error. This is the "missingDriver" error generated by the Print Manager, meaning that the specified driver is not in the DRIVERS subdirectory of the SYSTEM subdirectoruy. It looks like we finally have a reason for *not* deleting the APPLETALK driver routine, since I don't have that driver on my copy of SYSTEM.DISK . For those of us who are having this problem, I think the best thing to do is to go down to your Apple dealer and get a copy of the current system disk 3.1, use that, and see what happens. --------------- John K.
