The Apple-Cat has a serial port on that, so you can hook your new 1200 baud
modem to that and save $$$ and a slot.  Cool 300 baud modem eh?
I have a set up just like this, but I don't use it much since I have a 2400
baud modem now.  If anyone's interested, I'd be willing to sell it for $130
(Apple-Cat 300 and a 1200 Hayes compatible).
