Hello,

     We're thinking of purchasing one of the new Helical-Scan, VCR tape,
backup devices for a VAX/VMS machine with a Unibus and also for a Motorola
with a VMEbus. The question is, how good are these devices?  We've read all
the reviews for these devices and they seem very impressive, but with new
technology you never can tell. So if anyone out there has any experience
with these, good or bad, please email me a note about your experience.
If there is a great deal of response, I'll post a summary to the net. Thanks
in advance.
