A friend of mine needs to write a program to read a .PIC
file created by IN-A-VISION on a PC and display the picture it represents.

(IN-A-VISION is apparently an IBM PC package authored/distributed by 
Micrografix (or some similar name)).

He needs to know:

    1 - What is the format of these files?
    2 - Are there any tools for converting them to/from IGES ?
    3 - Is there any connection between this format and those used by
        Lotus 123, Lotus Manuscript, PC Paint, Windows "draw!", ...
        as the file extension (.PIC) suggests?

Any info, direct or otherwise, will be appreciated.
