I have an acquiantance that is having a problem with their machine.
They have installed a 1.44 Meg Toshiba 3.5" drive in an AT clone
with Phoenix 3.1 BIOS and are using MS-DOS 3.3.  When they use
DRIVER.SYS and try to format the drive, no matter what they do
they receive an INVALID PARAMETER error message.  If they install
it as a 1.2 Meg device and do not use DRIVER.SYS it formats fine 
as a 1.2 Meg device which isn't quite up to par.

Question:  Has anyone had this problem and what is the fix?
