Woelz) Distribution: na Organization: GENROCO, Inc., Slinger, WI Lines: 23 There have been a lot of good GIF pictures posted to one of the ibm pc groups of late. I want to put them on my Mac II but I have this problem. Our connection to the network is a UNIX machine. Our Mac only has an ASCII connection to the UNIX machine. The GIF files were encoded using uuencode. I have uuencode for my UNIX system, but if I decode them there, then I cannot get them to the Mac as they are binary files. If I download them to the Mac first, then I cannot decode them as I don't have uudecode for the Mac. Does uudecode for the Mac exist? If so, where can I obtain it? Is there another way to solve my problem? Is there a machine on the network that archives Mac source/binary stuff that is accessible from a UNIX UUCP connection? (Is this enough questions or should I ask a few more 8-)? Thanks in advance for any replies. -- Don Woelz {ames, rutgers, harvard}!uwvax!uwmcsd1!grc!don GENROCO, Inc.
