Lest anyone say that I may be able to run it but can't do much work, I have a 41,000 word novel in one FWP file right now. I expect it to be 80,000 or so when finished, and I think I won't have many problems. My chapters are about 10 pages of single-spaced 12 point Palatino each. The only speed problem I've noticed is that it takes a few seconds to swap memory when I scroll between chapters. Of course, I plan to get a memory upgrade this summer :-) I'm also going to write a fairly long essay on experimental biology during the summer. FWP looks right now like it's going to do the job quite well. The sidebars and pictures will be wonderful for diagrams and tables.
