I used to do that until I found the postscript answer. Then I abandoned that kludgy work-around. Now I don't have to worry about standing there with the paper tray out until the lw has gone through all its start-up procedures. Just click and go. No problem. Besides, all the "playing with postscript" is done for you. Just shoot this bit of code to the LW and it does the rest. Very simple.
