Message-ID: <8805231149.AA16399@decwrl.dec.com> Date: 23 May 88 11:49:06 GMT Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 14 I had an interesting experience over the weekend (I certainly hope you all did ;') I was working on a friend's machine, and discovered what seemed to be a virus problem (via Virus Detective). The symptom it found was a Code resource of 7306 bytes in length (why, I do not know). After playing around I discovered that MacMoney, when on it's distribution floppy, tested OK. When you copy to HD, it exhibits the above problem. That was on version 2.03 - 3.01.01 copies and shows no such signs. Can anyone explain what VD thought it was seeing? It would be nicew to eliminate the scare if it occurs again. Thanks, Gary
