Message-ID: <2787@im4u.UUCP> Date: 23 May 88 14:56:33 GMT Reply-To: yvo@im4u.UUCP (Yvonne Van Olphen) Organization: U. Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 15 Is there a utility available which will pare down the newest versions of System and Finder enough to fit on a 400K disk? The Mac in question is a plain vanilla 512K and it is on an Appletalk network with two other Macs, both Mac IIs. Every time the person using this Mac wants to print a document on the LaserWriter, the LaserWriter reinitializes because of the older version of the system software on the 512K. Please send me e-mail, as I cannot keep up with the volume on this newsgroup!!! :-( -Yvonne yvo@cs.utexas.edu cs.utexas.edu!yvo
