I'm really glad end users can't get accounts--imagine the embarrasment for Apple! (See previous discussion of garish user interfaces.) "We'll make a Macintosh application the only interface to the system. Of course, messages will still be ASCII text formatted with hard returns into 80-character lines, but that way we can represent them with little icons in a window." It's the kind of situation where I say to myself, "Why bother complaining? If they're that far removed from reality, why should I expect them to listen?" I guess I should be thankful you can use a 1200-baud modem. - Walt P.S. Sorry about this, I just realized that I've never flamed about A****L*nk before.
