A friend of mine would like to do some C + assembly lang programming on the Mac (video games type). She's an expert in C, knows a little 68000 assembly, and very little about the Mac. How much time does it take for a college kid (senior majoring in Comp Sci, IQ = 110) to learn "enough" to start on any significant project? (Days/weeks/months, working full-time) Also, are there any books, workshops that are recommended? Please reply directly to me (kwan@cs.ucla.edu) Thanks a bunch!!
