Hi netters out there, does anyone of you know the scanners for the
IBM pc family? I'm look for information and possible sources to
obtain documations about scanners that can be used by a PC.

Also, anywhere or any place I can find the technical specification
or document about those scanners?

Another thing: what exactly is OCR(Optical Character Recognization?)
Is this a software that will allow a scanner to read in some
"non-standard" ASCII characters(or, graphic characters?) Isn't
there some graphic software or some sort of driver for the
scanner when you buy one?(well, yeh, I'm considering buying a scanner...)
