Has it gone before the X Consortium and when might it get blessed? The Xt Intrinsics have been under review by the MIT X Consortium for several months. A final spec is now out to Consortium members, and a standardization vote will take place very shortly. The outcome will be made public soon thereafter. I am slightly perturbed by the apparent lack of interest in the X toolkit on the net from the X consortium and its cohorts. Much of the activity has taken place in private Consortium mailing lists and meetings.
